Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Bamwor.com ("we", "the Site") handles information when you visit our website or use our API. The Site is operated by an individual ("Site Operator"). For questions about this policy, see the Contact page.
1. Information We Collect
Bamwor.com is primarily an informational website. For general visitors, we do not intentionally collect or store personal data beyond what third-party services gather automatically.
Third-party services integrated into the Site may automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device characteristics, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps. This data is collected by these services as described below.
If you use the Bamwor API, we collect additional information as described in Section 5.
2. Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our Site. GA4 collects usage data such as pages visited, session duration, approximate geographic location (based on IP), browser, and device information. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers for this purpose.
Google Analytics data helps us improve the Site's content and user experience. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can learn more at Google Privacy Policy.
3. Google AdSense (Advertising)
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Site. Google AdSense may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites. Google and its advertising partners may collect information about your browsing activity to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.
You can manage your ad personalization settings at Google Ads Settings or opt out of personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We do not intentionally set cookies ourselves. However, the third-party services described above (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) may set cookies or use similar identifiers on your device to provide their services. These may include performance cookies, advertising cookies, and analytics identifiers.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect your browsing experience on some websites.
5. Bamwor API Data
If you register for an API key via our developer portal, we collect and store the following:
- Email address: Provided during API key registration. Used to identify your account, communicate service updates, and handle billing.
- API key: A unique key generated for your account. Stored securely in our database.
- Usage data: We log API requests including timestamps, endpoints accessed, response codes, and request volume. This data is used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and service improvement.
We retain API account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us via our Contact page.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information. The only data sharing occurs through the third-party services (Google) described in this policy, which act as data processors or independent controllers according to their own terms of service.
7. International Data Transfers
Google Analytics and Google AdSense may transfer and process data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. These transfers are governed by Google's data processing terms and applicable safeguards.
8. Your Choices
- Browser settings: You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies.
- Google Ad Settings: Manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
- Google Analytics Opt-Out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
- Do Not Track: We note that some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no industry-standard response to DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond differently to such signals.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
